Michael Donovan,
bapt 13 Oct 1836.
He inherited
Lisgordan,
near Shanagolden, Co.Limerick.
He is
described as farmer, of Lisgordan, at mar 1870.
Mar settlement 1870.
He mar 1870 to
Mary O'Brien [born 1850].
He helped repair the roof of his brother's house
Grouse Lodge,
and left his name on the building:
"M. Donovan Nov 10th 1882".
"Michael Donovan" is listed as farmer, Lisgordan, Rathronan,
under Kilcolman in
[Postal Directory of Munster, 1886].
He is probably "Michael Donovan"
who is listed in
[Postal Directory of Munster, 1886]
as proprietor of an iron mineral quarry at Knockbweeheen, Kilcolman par.
