of Garryglass, Ballysimon, near Limerick city (just S of Kilbane, see old map),
mar pre-1816 to Anne Frost [or Ann, born 1778],
he died 7 Nov 1850, age 78 yrs,
bur Ballysimon,
she died 12 February 1853, aged 75 yrs, bur Ballysimon,
had issue:

  1. Thomas Nolan, born 1816,
    mar 1stly, 1838, to Mary Ann Bourke [born 1821],
    she died 1848, age 27 yrs,
    mar 2ndly, 1856, to Margaret Hurley [born 1814],
    she died 13 July 1879, aged 65 yrs, bur Ballysimon,
    he died 1884, age 68 yrs,
    had issue by 1st wife:

    1. John Nolan, born 1845,
      mar Bridget Halpin,
      lived Garryglass,
      died 1928,
      had issue:

      1. Thomas M. Nolan, born 1886,
        mar May Florence O'Halloran,
        family moved to USA in stages in 1931-42,
        died 1963,
        had issue:

          1. John J. Nolan,
            Jack, John Joseph Nolan, born 1909,
            lived USA,
            mar Julia Ann McEvoy,
            see letters from Michael Nolan to him in 1970,
            got copy of Nolan family tree from Jim Nolan around 1979,
            died 1987,
            had issue:

            1. John Nolan,
              researching family tree.
