Listed at marriage 1781 as of parish of Gretton, Northamptonshire. This is where his wife was from. This is very close to Lyddington, just across the county line.

He mar 4 Nov 1781 to Elizabeth Latimore [or Lattimore, bapt 15 Oct 1758].
She was already pregnant at marriage.
They lived at Gretton.
Children bapt at Gretton 1782 to 1801.

Elizabeth is listed as of Gretton in burial record.
She died must be Nov 1843.

She was buried on 18 Nov 1843 in Gretton. Burial says age 85 (born 1758).

    bapt 1 Mar 1791, Gretton.


  5. William Stanger,
    born Gretton, Northamptonshire,
    bapt 4 Aug 1794, Gretton [NOT Lyddington].
    According to later census he would be born 1794 or 1796, Gretton. Listed beside what must be his parents Oliver and Elizabeth.
    There is only one William Stanger baptised at Gretton in this period. And his parents are Oliver and Elizabeth. This must be him.
    DNA proves it is him.
    He married Ann Weston and had children bapt at Gretton, Northamptonshire, 1821 to 1837.
    He is not to be confused with a William Stanger who married Sarah Scott and had children bapt at Seaton, Rutland, 1822 to 1838.

    bapt 4 Feb 1798, Gretton.

  7. Susannah Stanger,
    bapt 3 Mar 1801, Gretton.
