The George Cashel property on Carrick St, Mullinahone.

- Original lease of plots 63 and 64, Carrick St, dated 18 Dec 1850. Referred to in [Deed, 1892]. Note that George Cashel holds the property both before and after the date of this lease.

Plots 63 and 64 are the two halves of the green house.
LHS is plot 64. RHS is plot 63.
George Cashel is listed as holding plot 63 in 1846-50 and renting it out. He is listed as holding both plots in 1856-58 but living elsewhere, though he recently occupied plot 63.
Summary: He may have lived here (plot 63) in 1840s, rented it out in 1846-50, lived here again (plot 63) in 1854 or 1855, rented it out again in 1856-58.

George Cashel was stationed at Mullinahone, Co.Tipperary, by 1838 (possibly as early as 1833).
He was stationed at nearby Lismalin by 1846 (possibly by 1844).
He held plot 63, Carrick St, Mullinahone, and rented it out, in at least 1846-50 (when he himself was living at Lismalin).
He must have acquired this house when at Mullinahone the first time, and rented it out when he was away at Lismalin.
[House Book for Mullinahone, 1846] shows John Cleary at plot 63, paying rent to George Cashel.

George Cashel was moved back to Mullinahone again in 1854 or 1855.
He held plots 63 and 64, Carrick St, Mullinahone, in 1856-58, but himself lived elsewhere in Mullinahone (on Callan St).
He left Co.Tipperary in 1858.

Richard Kickham (apparently 1st cousin of George Cashel's wife) held plot 64, Carrick St, Mullinahone, in 1858 to 1869.
He died 1871.
His widow Ellen Kickham held plot 64 in 1874 to 1881.
Plots 63 and 64 are listed under "Ellen Kickham" in 1881 to 1892.
Ellen probably died 1888.

The Kickham family transferred both plots to James Mullally in 1892, when he married Bridget Kickham.
They were held by Michael Mullally in 1955.

Plot 64 is now Meehan's shop.

He is living at Lismalin at this time, and renting this property out.
He is not listed as holding plot 64.

The numbering of plots at Carrick St is consistent through the years.
The land at plot 63 (to the S) is 6 perches.
The land at plot 64 (to the N, next door) is 5 perches.

He was recently leasing plot 63. He has just transferred it to Morrissy.
He is still leasing plot 64, and renting it out.
He is recently crossed out as occupant of plot 63. This suggests he lived here when he first came back to Mullinahone in 1854 or 1855.

[Deed, 22 Feb 1892] is the transfer of plot 63 and plot 64 from Kickham to Mullally.

It is a transfer from Bridget Kickham and Ellen Kickham to (Bridget's soon-to-be husband) James Mullally.
It transfers the premises on E side of Carrick St that was "formerly in the possession of William and Patrick Morrissey and Ellen Hayden".
Bounded on S by house of Thomas Burke and premises of Laurence O'Brien. Bounded on N by house of Stephen O'Connor.
i.e. This is plot 63 and plot 64 together.
It says that the original lease of this premises is dated 18 Dec 1850. No names given.
