Mary Ellen, Ellen,
born 27 Apr 1871, Ballylongford, Co.Kerry.

She was educ at local national school.
She would be "Mary Ellen Rahilly" who sp bapt of her 1st cousin Bridget Ellen Mangan June 1885 (age 14).
She was educ Ursuline Convent, Waterford. There as at May 1889. See [P106/46].
Think [Ernie O'Malley letters, 1991] is wrong to say she was educ Sacred Heart School, Waterford (school of the Sacred Heart of Mary at Ferrybank, Waterford, founded 1879).
[O'Rahilly, 1991, p.15] says she was educ Mount Anville.
The family would later adopt the surname "O'Rahilly", but she married before that. She was "Rahilly" at marriage in 1895.

She mar 20 Feb 1895 to Dr. David Humphreys and had issue.
Marriage settlement dated 19 Feb 1895, involving David, her father Richard, and as a Trustee David's brother Fr. James Humphrys.
They mar at Catholic University Church, on St.Stephen's Green, Dublin.
Mar cert in [P106/361].
