John Hurly,
 born 1833.
His 
 father  died 1854.
In 1857 he bought an estate around 
Lyreacrompane, Co.Kerry
(between Tralee and Listowel,
see 
map).
He did not live there himself. His agent did.
He mar 1858 (NOT 1853)  to 
Elizabeth Augusta Grant [born 1829, it was her 2nd mar].
 
They  lived at  
  
Fenit House,
 on the coast W of Tralee,  Co.Kerry.
 There is a stone at Fenit House with inscription "J.H. 1860". 
He inherited
 
"Black Jack's Book"
and made a cover for it, dated 1862.
 
 [Hickson, 1872]
says he owns "Black Jack's Book".
He died at Fenit House,  17 Nov 1878.
Elizabeth Augusta died 1881.
John and Elizabeth Augusta 
had issue:
-  Augusta  Hurly,
 born 1860.
 She 
mar 1894 to Harnett Fuller [born 1866]
and had issue.
 She inherited   Fenit House.
 
 
-  John Hurly,
 John Charles Dennis Hurly,  born 1864,
 of Fenit House.
 His father died 1878.
 He inherited 
 "Black Jack's Book".
 [Hickson, 3 Mar 1897]
says "Black Jack's Book" is at Fenit House.
 He is 
listed
at Fenit House in 1901 census.
His separated  married  sister Augusta is with him.
 John in a letter of 1908   says he has "Black Jack's Book". Living Fenit House.
 He
died unmarried, 1929.
