Her sister died tragically in Nov 1806.
Rickard was an officer in the British Army. He became a Captain.
Lived Day Place, Tralee.
Elizabeth died 2 Dec 1827.
He died of cholera, Sun 3 June 1832, at his house, Day Place, Tralee.
His will pr 11 July 1835.
They had issue:

1. Thomas O'Connell,
   born or bapt 8 Feb 1801.
   Clerk of the Tralee Union.
   He mar 22 Sept 1831 to Susan Shannon.
   They had issue:
   1. Thomas Kempt O'Connell, born 12 Oct 1833.
      He mar B. Palmer and had issue.

   2. Maurice Thomas O'Connell.
   3. Elizabeth O'Connell, bapt 26 Mar 1840.
   4. Daniel O'Connell, bapt 10 Dec 1842.
   5. (son) O'Connell, twin, born c.25 Feb 1848.
   6. (dau) O'Connell, twin, born c.25 Feb 1848.

   
   

2. Mary Ann O'Connell,
   or Marianne.
   She would be Mary Connell, bapt 28 April 1803, Tralee RC church, dau of Richard Connell and "Catherine" Tuohy. Think mother's name is just an error. Bapt sp by Mary Tuohy.
   
   She mar 23 Nov 1832 to Lieutenant-Colonel John Kempt [John Francis Kempt, born c.1805].
   He entered the army in 1830.
   They mar at Tralee RC church. Mar wit by Maurice O'Connell and Elizabeth O'Connell.
   
   He was Lieutenant 1837. Captain 1842. Major 1854. Lieutenant-Colonel 1858.
   They went to New Zealand.
   He died 28 July 1865, Queen's Redoubt, New Zealand.
