Notes by "Edward Denny" in 1879.
This must be Rev. Edward Denny, Rector of Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry, 1878-81
(note the devotional writing here).
He refers to a diary entry dated 25 Mar 1630 of
Sir Edward Denny
and notes this would pre-date this bible.
He says this Bible (dated 1639 and 1640)
"may have been" the property of Sir Edward Denny (who died 1646).
But in fact, although it is called the "Denny" bible, its connection to the Dennys is unclear.
