He is gone from the alphabetical listing in
[Thom's, 1894].
Robert apparently died in the Workhouse in 1901:
He must be Robert Malone, tailor, married,
of Charlemont Place, Dublin,
who died 7 Nov 1901 in the Workhouse, Dublin South.

It gives age as 62 (born 1839) but that could be error.
Should probably be age 74.
However, how could he die in the Workhouse?
Where was his wife?
And his son
William
was alive and living nearby.
It would also be shocking considering that his brother-in-law
(and godfather to his son)
was the very wealthy

thought that "Elizabeth and Agnes went to Australia and became Nuns in Rockhampton."
This is wrong.
Elizabeth did go to Rockhampton, but married and had issue.
And Agnes died young.
Probably confusion with Mary, who did go to Australia, but also married and had issue.
