Flanagan deeds
Flanagan deeds and related papers.
Dates 1803 to 1975.
The huge
Flanagan estate
of SW Co.Dublin
was built up mainly by
Alderman Michael Flanagan.
But his father and grandfather and other relations held lands
which are part of the story.
So
I am gathering all known Flanagan deeds and related papers on one page.
This page includes a wide variety of deeds and papers:
- Deeds and papers in my possession.
- Deeds listed in Table 2 and Table 6 in [Hannan].
- Deeds whose memorials are found in [LR].
- Deeds mentioned by other deeds and papers
but that I have not seen a copy of. And indeed a copy may not exist.
- Deeds not involving Flanagan, but involving property that later became Flanagan property.

Wills and marriage settlements are not here but on the pages of the people involved.

I use "Walkinstown Road" for locations on the road outside Walkinstown House.
But that is the new name.
Deeds use the old name and call that road part of "Greenhills Road".
