Inherited through Mary Rynne (died 1961).
Later in possession of Etienne Rynne.

Around 400 letters. Some other documents. 1867 to 1913.
Mostly letters to Stephen O'Mara, Parnellite MP, Free State Senator (born 1844, died 1926) and his wife Ellen Pigott (bapt 1845, married 1867, died 1910).

Letters from Stephen O'Mara to his wife

As a separate group, a large number of letters survive from Stephen O'Mara (born 1844, died 1926) to his wife Ellen Pigott (bapt 1845, married 1867, died 1910). In the letters, she is "Nell" and he is "Stout".
  

1860s

  1. 7 Aug 1867. He is in Limerick. Wife is in Kilkee with his parents. He says his sister Bridget is ill.
  2. 8 Aug 1867. Says Bridget is better.
